Charity accounting and reporting has seen major changes since SORP 2005. Major new issues for 2012 include the process of merging UK accounting standards (GAAP) into international financial reporting standards and the new FRSPBE. Other recent issues include reporting on public benefit, changes in thresholds, new rules on group accounts, changed audit and independent examination rules for charitable companies and the first accounts for CIOs. This event will recap the current framework on charity accounting across England/Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland and examine the changes to give a full picture for charity accounts in 2012.
